International Disability Day 2007
3rd December is International Disability Day. Day long program organized by Chittagong Society for the disabled and Department of Social Welfare of Bangladesh Gov. Colorful Rally, Day long Disability fair, Discussion, Cultural Program, Drama, Photo exhibition has been organized at JM Shen Hall premises in Chittagong. A large number of Persons with disability attended in these programs. YPSA project and stall on disability and organized a photo exhibition. YPSA’s program officer Vashkar Vattacharya demonstrated information technology based employment opportunity at the program. Diferent kinds of NGOs project their activities at their stalls. YPSA’s stall provides Publications, Digital talking books and different kinds of handicraft made by persons with disability and also campaign for raising awareness about the rights of persons with disability.
