“ SHARABELA SHARAKKHON ” completed at Cox's Bazar
“Prevention of HIV/AIDS among Young People in Bangladesh” is a collaborative project between National AIDS/ STD Program (NASP), Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) and Save the Children-USA funded by Global fund.
Life Skill Education (LSE) is one of the major components of this project. This project is being implemented all over the country through some selected community based youth clubs/organizations affiliated with Ministry of Youth and Sports. To observe World AIDS Day’07, YPSA in collaboration with SC-USA (Management Agency) took an initiative to organize an event titled “SHARABELA SHARAKKHON” for the Master Trainers of youth clubs of Cox’sbazar, Chittagong and Comiila. “Sharabela Sharakkhon” was held on 20 January, 08 at Hotel Media International, Sea Beach Road, Cox’sBazar. A total of Fifty Five Master Trainers were attended in this event where 19 were female and 36 were male. Moreover, All the Master Trainers & Guest expressed their commitment to prevent the HIV/AIDS during their participation in Candle light vigil at Sea Beach of Cox’sBazar.
