Youths are generally not recognized as active members in society. When they are not given a chance to participate, they usually don't take the initiative. Because youths are our future leaders, YPSA wants to support them. |
Goals
This program is dedicated to engaging youths in social activities through motivation and awareness programs. With the collaboration of local youth clubs and institutions, it helps youth to develop skills in social work, gives them a platform to express their concerns and thus involves them in the on-going development process.
Activities
The program implements activities such as organized recreation and cultural programs through PO and a local youth club. It also supports the local clubs to observe 'Baishakhi Mela' (the Bengali New Year), arrange local football and cricket tournaments, and observe National Day. The program also organizes blood drives, leadership development trainings for youths, and YPSA's yearly International Youth Camp.
