Human Resource & Development Department (HRD)

Coverage Chandgaon, Chittagong City
Started Since 2005

Introduction

YPSA, a continuously growing and developing non governmental organization, established the new Human Resources Department for a more cohesive central coordination of its 22 branches, and 1000 full time and part time workers, along with national and international volunteers. It strengthens the internal structure of YPSA by making it more structured and by ensuring the equality of the staff. The dimension of staff development is an important aspect to the operations of any non governmental organization. The organization recognizes that an equitable environment and a staff who are strong, positive and focused are key factors in YSPA's success.

Purpose

To ensure quality and equality in the organization, the Human Resources Department performs the following activities:

  • Develops modules like the Personnel Policy and Procedure and Gender Policy manuals

  • Compensation, benefits and services
  • Employee training and motivation
  • Coaching and mentoring
  • Support for national and international volunteers
