Situation

The Human Resources Development Centre is a link organization that provides an affordable method for YPSA staff and other like minded organizations to develop their human resources. It is responsible for staff training and internal development. Workshops, seminars, and skills development exercises can be held in any of the three centers. In addition, the HRDC also generates income and develops the skills and technical competence of YPSA's organization staff. It offers modern training facilities that can be used by grassroots' people, and is easily accessed from Dhaka and Chittagong.

Facilities

In order to build and develop the capacity of YPSA's various activities and projects, the HRDC provides training facilities at the following locations that include:

Other HRDC responsibilities are:

• Developing modules such as first aid training and leadership and communication training.
• Organizing workshops and seminars for staff such as adminstering Physical Fitness and disaster preparedness training modules developed internally.
• Ensuring training facilities are available.

Outcomes

The HRDC plays a very significant role in generating income for the organization. By renting its training facilities to external organizations, the fees help to guarantee the continuous self-reliance and sustainability of the organization.
