Situation
The Organization Learning and Reflection (OLR) unit plays a vital role in ensuring the smoothness of information flow within and outside the organization. The major task is to monitor YPSA's numerous programs and projects, as there are currently 22 field offices. The unit also serves as a communication link between YPSA and the national/international community.
Initiative
To ensure the process and operation of YPSA's projects and programs, the following activities are performed by the OLR:
- Monitoring project activities
- Sending project proposal writing to the donors in accordance to the guideline of donors
- Compiling the yearly report
- Sharing information within the organization
- Collecting data from field offices and programs in a prescribed format
- Analyzing, preserving and sharing data
- Performing cross checks on facts and figures, as well as monthly reports
- Arranging field operation team meetings
Outcomes
YPSA aims to extend its activities in the national and international arena. In order for this to occur, the OLR unit will enhance the inventory system for a more coordinated and cohesive organization. The inventory system will allow YPSA to provide more vivid and informative data analyses of its activities and projects to the national and international community. It carries on as a unit which wants to establish YPSA as a sustainable organization. |
